It’s hard to put this day into words because everything was absolutely perfect. This day went off without a single hitch and displayed the most perfect weather anyone could ask for. Katy and Matt are two of the sweetest people I have had the opportunity to meet and it was so evident they were head over heels for each other!

When I arrived to the venue, I was greeted with open arms from the sweetest bride, her bridesmaids, and family. I immediately knew it was going to be an amazing day!

My favorite thing to do when I first meet a couple or a bride is ask them how they met, how he/she proposed, and what you love about them. The way Katy put her love for Matt into words was something out of a fairytale and what every girl dreams of having in a life long partner. She stated, “After our first date, I knew there was something very special about Matt. The way he treated me and listened truly spoke more than any words he said. He was so kind and genuine that I went home after the date and cried. I had never felt so cherished by someone I barely even knew. Little did I know that feeling and sense of security would grow. After a few more times of going out together I would start praying, “Please don’t let me catch feelings if I’m not going to marry him, Jesus!” After he asked me to court him, I knew he would be the one I would marry. I had come to a point in my life where I knew my worth and knew that if I trusted God to literally drop a man that serious about me in my lap, that it was completely His plan for me to marry Matt.”

Throughout their wedding day, it was evident they both were so excited to marry each other. Something I loved about this day was their first touch. As I positioned them, Matt started to get a bit weepy and so did Katy. They chose to read their vows in the most personal and intimate way possible; just the two of them.

Mountain Ridge Venue made for the most perfect venue for these two to sanctify their marriage. God put a hand on these two as they started their journey together as husband and wife and I pray that he guides them as they walk through life together.

Katy and Matt, it was such an honor playing a small role in your big day! I wish you both nothing but happiness as you navigate this new chapter in your lives.
